uncle Pete helped me greatly when starting my career as a cabinet maker. He provided me with a work bench and was very generous in gifting me lots of tools. He took lots of interest in projects i was working on and gave me great advice on what's tools were good when i was setting up. 

I also remember when I was about 16 and living in Devon, uncle Pete and Aunty Mary visiting with Pippa and Geoff. Uncle Pete showed Pippa and i how to use a lathe and do some woodturning.

I also remember living with the Attrees for a few months when i was 16 and uncle Pete making Spanish omelette for lunch, which was absolutely delicious.

I also have a very fond memory of going away for a weekend to their caravan, and there being an almighty thunderstorm. I think uncle Pete remained very calm whilst having to be in a confined space with me as a noisy teenager voicing my displeasure at the thunderstorm!!
